Coca~Cola

The first thing that popped to mind was Coca~Cola beacuse I collect Coke stuff. My room is FULL of it!

The Coca~Cola company first opened in 1892. The product that has given the world its best-known taste was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 8th , 1886. Dr. John Stith Pemberton, a local pharmacist, produced the syrup for Coca-Cola, and carried a jug of the new product down the street to Jacobs' Pharmacy, where it was sampled, pronounced "excellent" and placed on sale for five cents a glass as a soda fountain drink. Carbonated water was teamed with the new syrup to produce a drink that was at once "Delicious and Refreshing," a theme that continues to echo today wherever Coca-Cola is enjoyed.

Thinking that the two Cs would look well in advertising, Dr. Pemberton's partner and bookkeeper,
Frank Robinson, suggested the name and penned the now famous trademark "Coca-Cola" in his unique script. The first newspaper ad for Coca-Cola soon appeared in The Atlanta Journal, inviting thirsty citizens to try the new and popular soda fountain drink. Hand-painted oilcloth signs reading "Coca-Cola" appeared on store awnings, with the suggestion "Drink" added to inform passersby that the new beverage was for soda fountain refreshment. During the first year, sales averaged a modest nine drinks per year!

Dr. Pemberton never realized the potential of the beverage he created. He gradually sold portions of his business to various partners and, just prior to his death in 1888, sold his remaining interest in Coca-Cola to Asa G. Candler. An Atlantan with great business acumen, Mr. Candler proceeded to buy additional rights and acquire complete control.

Coke products include- over 500 different brands! That's a bunch of products! Ther most famouse being-
Coca~Cola Classic.

The Coca~Cola Polar bear had its debut in 1993 they did differnt designs with the bear and the Santa for Christmas time. The Polar Bear could be for any season cause your drinking an Ice Cold drink and Polar Bears live in a cold climate.

         

 

                 

Goals

Mrs. Jones is such a great teacher and shows us how to acheive goals in this class. I have a goal in this class which is to pass. So as long as she is my teacher I think she will help me pass! My 4 goals are: 1) open my own restarant/ bakery, 2) Kill a big 12 point buck, 3) get lots of $$, 4) Have a nice big farm with deer on it out in the country.
Two of my bad habits are: being a smart alik, and thinking I know everything (which I do) :)

SNOW!! :)

I love this snow that we have!! This is the most wonderful time of the year! Winter!  It is so beautiful beacuse the ground is covered in a white blanket that looks so soft but is really cold. Snow is the best type of weather EVER! If I could choose the weather, I would make it snow everyday in winter! You can make snowmen and snow-angels but when the sun comes out, all the snow melts and no more fun. :(

Rifle Season

Monday Nov. 22nd is the start of rifle season. I have a camp up in Braxton co. and I got up there Sunday morning and leave Wendsday afternoon. I hunt with a 30-30 Remigton rifle. I ride around on a Suzuki KingQuad 400 4-wheeler. I absolutely LOVE to hunt. I kill a deer every year. Globaloria

This class is starting to get really hard! You have to do all this stuff that your not sure how to.
I like this class but you know.. This is my first year so it's all new and stuff. I hope it gets funner & easier but I don't think it will get easier. Take Flash for example, it's VERY confusing! If we had better instrutions, I think we could do it..

Veteran's Day

I would like to thank all the men & women who have served or are serving in our military for keeping our country safe! These people risk their life to keep us free. My grandpa was a verteran of  WWII. He passed away on June 30th 2008. I miss him every day but I thank him for serving in the army and keeping our country safe.
Veteran's Day is an awsome holiday to have to remebr our vets.  If you know a veteran, please thank them for all they have done.

                      

Paper prototyping

I like doing paper prototyping because I like to draw and stuff. This will really help my group out because it gives us an idea of what are game will be like. If you ever have the chance to try this you should becasue I think you will like it. 

Rifle season

I can't wait for Thanksgiving week! It starts rifle season. I love to rifle hunt because you get a better chance to kill something that bow huntin, but I'm good at both so it doesnt really matter to me. haha
When you rifle hunt, you can shoot deer that are farther away. When you bow hunt your sights are usually 10yds, 20yds, 30yds, or higher. So with a gun, you could shoot 50 or 60yds or farther!

Election Day!

I so happy that we get Election Day off! I think I might go hunting that day since I'm not old enogh to vote.
I hope Manchin wins the senate seat cuase he was a good governer. Since it's a national holldiay type thing, all the schools get that day off. I think that's a good thing because it gives the kids a break from school and stuff.

Lunch..

We had Turkey ala King today for lunch today. It was very nasty and they could have gave us some salt but they said they weren't allowed! It was the worst thing EVER! I wish our school could cook decent food.

We gotta get a grade for everything that we've done so far..

Game genre

I would like to do a strategy game because you teach people more things.

Security

Internet privacy is a good thing because you don't want people you know looking at your profiles and stuff.
The laws of the internet are displayed in the link ~ Internet Privacy laws, Internet Pricay Act..
If you don't think that the privay act is right, you could be kidnapped by people in a panel van with sateites on the top.

Games

Most of the games were fun, I ecspecially like the Hatian game where you had to save them. It taught you how people in that region had to survive. A couple of my people passed on but the rest of the family made it.
The WV Animal Rescue was a very good game too beacause it taught you how to care for your pet by feeding it and stuff. Some of them could have had a little more work done to them but for the majority they were fun.

Globaloria is interesting. I think it will turn out to be a fun class. You will eventually get to make games of your own.

My Glife expirence so far.

It's a fun class and very interseting.... It is very time comsuming and complicating. I like this class cause I think it will be fun. I hope to make a mini game but it's whatever my team decides..
